Russians shell Sumy region: One killed and several injured, including children

Over the past day, the Russian occupants have launched hundreds of attacks on the territory of the Sumy region. The Russian attacks resulted in one killed and four wounded civilians, including two young children, according to the National Police of Ukraine.

Thus, over the past day, Russian troops struck Sumy region 224 times. According to law enforcement, the Russian shelling also damaged:

  • 10 private houses
  • 3 private households
  • 6 apartment buildings
  • 8 vehicles
  • 2 elevator buildings
  • 2 administrative buildings
  • energy and critical infrastructure facilities
  • property of one of the enterprises, a shop, and a warehouse.

"In addition, the company's hangar was destroyed and a fuel and lubricant tank caught fire," the statement said.

Situation in Sumy region

The Russians are currently actively attacking the Sumy region in various ways. Russia is intensifying its attacks on the border communities with various technical means. In addition, the occupiers have not abandoned their systematic attempts to bring their subversive reconnaissance groups to the territory of the region.

Yesterday Russian troops attacked energy facilities in the Sumy region, which led to a power outage in the entire community.

The night before, Russian troops attacked the territory of Sumy region. The energy infrastructure came under fire.

After that, the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko, said that the city might be left without water due to the suspension of the Pryshybsky water intake.
