Trump 'increasingly irritated' in court as Stormy dishes on his marriage: report

Adult film star Stormy Daniels reportedly seemed to get under former President Donald Trump's skin on Tuesday as she testified in his Manhattan hush-money trial.

As reported by CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Daniels on Tuesday discussed her various encounters with Trump, including one in which he showed her a photo of his third wife, Melania Trump.

Daniels remarked that Melania was "beautiful" but Trump told her not to worry about it because "we don’t even sleep in the same room."

Collins reports that Trump then "shook his head and muttered something to his legal team as she said this," and added that he "appears increasingly irritated as she testifies."

This was not the only family-related dirt that Daniels dished on the stand.

As recounted by Lawfare's Tyler McBride, Daniels also testified that Trump told her that "you remind me of my daughter because she is smart and blonde and beautiful and people underestimate her as well."

And Collins also reported that the atmosphere in the courtroom grew "intense" when Daniels described her sexual encounter with Trump.

"There have been multiple objections from the defense and Trump is scowling in the direction of the witness stand as Stormy Daniels testifies about them having sex, saying he did not use a condom," Collins wrote.

Trump is currently on trial for allegedly falsifying business records related to his efforts to pay off Daniels in exchange for her silence ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Former Trump aide Hope Hicks testified last week that there was a sense of urgency to squash stories about Trump sex scandals late in the 2016 campaign after a video leaked showing Trump openly bragging about being able to get away with sexually assaulting women.

Trump has denied ever having an affair with Daniels, although he does have a lengthy history of tabloid-documented martial infidelity across three separate marriages.

Trump was also found liable last year for sexually abusing and defaming writer E. Jean Carroll.
