Report: Chelsea are planning to unveil another banner for 'amazing' player after Conor Gallagher's

Chelsea fans recently displayed a banner for Conor Gallagher in their side’s 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Conor Gallagher has been on Chelsea‘s books his whole life and has captained the team on multiple occasions this season.

Supporters wanted to show their appreciation for him, and it looks like they want to do something similar for one of his teammates before the campaign ends.

It has not been a great season for Chelsea, who have missed out on Champions League football once again.

However, things have picked up for them recently, with the club now sitting in seventh, and fans are clearly still supporting the players.

What Chelsea fans are planning to do in Bournemouth game

Chelsea’s final game of the season is against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

As per the Evening Standard, Chelsea fans will display a fan-funded crowd-surfing banner in the Shed End for Thiago Silva.

Silva recently announced that he is leaving the club at the end of the season and it has now been confirmed that the central defender is moving to Fluminense.

The Brazilian is a much-loved figure at Stamford Bridge, making over 150 appearances and helping Chelsea to win the Champions League.

He is someone who is going to be missed.

Thiago Silva deserves tribute against Bournemouth

Silva turns 40 in September but has still played 35 games this season.

As mentioned earlier, the former Paris Saint-Germain defender has made more than 150 appearances for Chelsea despite joining the club in his mid-30s.

On top of winning the Champions League, he has also helped the Blues to claim the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

This banner that is going to be displayed in the Bournemouth match is definitely warranted. Silva is someone who has given so much to the club and in such a short space of time.

In the words of his manager Mauricio Pochettino, Thiago Silva is an “amazing guy”.
