TV star wound up in hospital during filming - 'I still had to show up the next day'

Hannah Brown reveals her time on The Bachelorette was “tough.” The TV star was cast as the lead during season 15 five years ago. Nowadays, she’s happily engaged, but her route to romance sounds to have been challenging as she explains she wound up in the hospital during the show.

Sitting down with Savannah Chrisley this Spring, Hannah Brown lifts the lid on her time filming The Bachelorette. The two ladies also shared their experience of appearing on Special Forces. Hannah and Savannah got chatting during the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast.

Hannah Brown dishes on The Bachelorette

Both Savannah and Hannah put the ‘real’ in reality TV this May as they dished on their experiences on their respective shows.

Speaking to Savannah, Hannah said she doesn’t think people realize how “hard” The Bachelorette is.

She said: “It’s a job… I had a hard time because I was just coming into myself, showing up in a more authentic way… I really struggled with insecurity.”

She adds how something “really got into her head,” explaining: “One thing people don’t realize too sometimes, is the cast is picked out before the lead is. So, they guys don’t know who they’re going there for.”

She was ‘exhausted’ during the show

Hannah was The Bachelorette in 2019 during season 15. She said: “It was just an exhausting experience.”

The reality TV star had “bronchitis for five weeks,” and added that she had to “got to the hospital and still had to go to a date the next day.”

The 29-year-old continued: “It was really really like physically tough.”

She added how it was hard making “big life decisions,” explaining: “Emotionally, you’re cut off from everyone who actually knows you… “

After her whirlwind of an experience on The Bachelorette, she and Jed Wyatt were engaged for a short time.

Things didn’t work out, but Hannah is now engaged to Adam Woolard. She told Savannah how the two met on a dating app. She “liked” his picture first and later found out they lived “three doors down from one another.” The two arranged a date and the rest is history!
