'If I'm honest': David Seaman now shares who will win the Premier League this season - Man City or Arsenal

David Seaman has predicted whether Manchester City or Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season.

Sergio Aguero believes City will get the job done as the Gunners will have to win every single game until the end of the season to stand a chance.

Interestingly, Seaman played for both Arsenal and City.

However, the retired goalkeeper played for a Sky Blues side in the 2003/2004 season that were far from the juggernaut they have become.

But David Seaman is a viable authority to have his say on Premier League title races, as he won two in 1998 and 2002 respectively.

Seaman shares who will win the Premier League: City or Arsenal

Ashley Young’s opinion on the title race is perhaps being echoed by many.

The Englishman claimed that if Manchester City beat Tottenham Hotspur, the title will become theirs to lose.

However, Young claimed it is tough to decide which team deserves to win the league as both sides have been excellent this season.

Pep Guardiola’s men could put the pressure on Arsenal to beat Manchester United on Sunday with a win against Fulham on Saturday.

Furthermore, City have a game in hand unlike Mikel Arteta’s side against Spurs, which they will play on the following Tuesday night.

However, a potential win for the Gunners at Old Trafford will put pressure on the Sky Blues to defeat Tottenham, who they have lost thrice as well as drawn and won one game apiece against in their last five league encounters.

Despite having spent the bulk of his career at Arsenal, David Seaman claimed that Manchester City look set to win the league.

On the Seaman Says podcast, he said: “No [I cannot see the title coming down to goal difference], if I’m honest. I can’t see Man City not winning every game, that’s my only problem.”

“The only hard game that I see that they’ve got is Spurs away and the form that Spurs are in at the moment is like Man United.”

Man City need their big boys to step up in these three games

The majority of fans and pundits alike would likely side with David Seaman to give Manchester City the edge over Arsenal in the title race.

For City to get over the line, they will need their big boys to step up in these remaining three games as well as in the FA Cup final, in all fairness.

Especially in attack as Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden can turn potential draws or even losses into wins against any team in the world.

But then defensively, if Guardiola’s side go to sleep, the likes of Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham United could give their high line trouble.

However, the likes of Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias and John Stones in particular, who seem like the leaders of their defence must unleash the best versions of themselves too.
