President Joe Biden’s campaign reportedly launched a $14 million ad buy aimed at reaching Black, Latino and Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders voters.

And that’s the problem, according to Trump’s team.

“If there were ever an admission of FAILURE - it would be this - reporters - take note: Biden campaign launches $14M May ad buy focused on Black, Latino, Asian American voters,” top Trump advisor Chris LaCivita posted to X.

In short, the fact that Biden has lost ground among these voters per recent polling is proof Biden’s in trouble.

Polling from throughout Biden’s time in office reveals a widespread sense of disappointment with Biden’s performance as president, even among some of his most stalwart supporters, including Black adults, according to The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and AP VoteCast. That’s a sign that his winning coalition may be fraying and that as a result, Biden will need to work to build enthusiasm about his candidacy within his own base as well as among the moderates who helped propel him to victory in 2020.

Biden’s approval rating has also fallen at least 20 percentage points among Hispanic adults, independents, young adults and moderates.

The Hill reported on the Biden campaign’s ad buy: “The investments will cover the states the Biden campaign considers essential to victory, including the Midwest’s “Blue Wall,” the Sunbelt and the Southwest. The ads will run during sports programming, during commercials for shows like ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” and on digital platforms.”

But The Hill article LaCivita pointed to also highlighted a deficit for Trump: Money.

“We have historic cash on hand that literally trumps our opponents,” communications director Michael Tyler told reporters, according to The Hill. Tyler added: The Trump team has “little time to catch up.”

Biden has a roughly $192 million cash-on-hand lead over Trump.
