SMU will reportedly add a new staff member to its football program, hiring a guy from Baylor to serve in a similar role with the Mustangs this coming season.
According to Matt Zenitz of 247 sports, associate director of player personnel at Baylor, Connor Morgan, is moving to SMU to become the director of player personnel there — a nice little bump in title for Morgan. Here was Zenitz’ report of that news, which he tweeted out Wednesday morning:
“SMU is hiring Baylor’s Connor Morgan as its new director of player personnel, sources tell @247Sports. Spent the last three years at Baylor under Dave Aranda, including most recently as an associate director of player personnel for the Bears. Previously worked at Alabama.”
