Jason Kelce fans are praising him for his ‘great body’ as they claim he’s lost weight during the latest New Heights episode. It comes just weeks after the father of two outlined his weight loss goals for the future now he’s moved on from the sport.
Every week, Travis and Jason Kelce take to the mics for their podcast, New Heights. Lucky fans get video footage along with the audio, and during the premiere each Wednesday, get the chance to communicate with each other and leave their comments via YouTube. This week, Jason was getting all the praise and attention on his appearance, months after retiring from the NFL.
Jason Kelce ‘complimented on weight loss’ by new Heights fans
Jason and Travis Kelce often record their podcast from the comfort of their own homes, coming together through a split screen. Although recently, they were together in a studio in Hollywood, this week they’re back to basics, as they potentially get ready for their flight to Europe, to support Taylor Swift on her tour.
The former NFL was looking good this week, as many fans took to the comments to compliment him. “Jason looks so great with losing weight,” wrote one.
“Jason already on the slim down,” wrote another, while a third joked: “Slim Kelce.” However, it looks like not all fans were on board with the weight comments, as one penned: “Can we normalize NOT commenting on people’s bodies and weight gain/loss? We can do better.”
The 36-year-old recently spoke about his weight loss goals, telling his bro and Arnold Schwarzenegger in a previous episode: “I’m in the process right now — I’m retired. I played my whole career [at] 295 [pounds]. I’m trying to get down to 250, 260. My goal is two pounds every week, lose it. I want to lose it, but maintain my muscle mass.”
As well as losing weight, others commented saying he’d ‘lost his humor,’ while talking about the recent Tom Brady roast. Although the Kansas City Chiefs star was fully behind the laughs, Jason just couldn’t get his head around the idea of a roast.
“Jason is losing his sense of humor along with his weight [laughing emoji] should we just start a roast in the comments,” one wrote in response.
The brothers get a lot of love from fans in the comments, but they get their fair share of criticism too. Last week, some fans ‘complained’ about Travis’ bad language during the podcast. Fans aren’t the only ones who do the ‘telling off’ though, as last week younger brother Trav had to have a few stern words with Jason for calling their mom Cruella de Vil. It’s all with love!
The brothers are heading towards new ventures
The Philadelphia Eagles alums ‘new look’ may be down to the fact he’ll be gracing our TV screens very soon. After his impressive 13-year career on the field comes to an end, the star is said to be joining “Monday Night Countdown,” the pregame show for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” according to sources.
Travis has also been busy off the field lately, filming the upcoming game show series, Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? which he’ll be hosting, but that’s not all.
The 34-year-old is set to be making his acting debut this Fall, joining the cast of Ryan Murphy’s horror series Grotesquerie.
Fellow cast member Niecy Nash broke the news via Instagram, posting a video of the two, captioned: “This is what happens when WINNERS link up‼️ @killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie!”
