Brussels university ends cooperation with Israeli partner over war

The Free University of Brussels has decided to end a technology research project with Israeli partners and review all other projects involving Israeli participation due to Israel's military operation in the Gaza Strip, the Belga news agency reported.

The decision was made following the escalation of the war between Israel and the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas, Belga reported on Wednesday.

The cooperation concerns a scientific research project on artificial intelligence (AI).

The Dutch-language university in the Belgian capital now wants to decide project by project on the future of its cooperation with institutions in Israel.

According to the information provided, there are seven projects in total.
