Ivanka Trump shared "cryptic" poem on Instagram Tuesday as her father faced off against adult film star Stormy Daniels in his criminal hush money trial, according to a new report.

Trump's daughter shared video of musician Tom Waits reciting Charles Bukoski's "The Laughing Heart" the same day he watched Daniels testify about the one-night stand about which she the adult film star she was paid $130,000 not to speak publicly, Newsweek reports.

Among the lines in the poem is the following message: "There is light somewhere./ It may not be much light but/ it beats the darkness." Bukoski closes his poem with the line, "You are marvelous/ the gods wait to delight/ in you."

The former president, who denies the affair and pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records, was heard cursing so loudly in court that Judge Juan Merchan had to pull his lawyer aside.

Newsweek noted Wednesday that Ivanka has an affinity for poetry and has posted her own work and that of others before.

Ivanka Trump shared the following lines in the caption of a photo of her husband, Jared Kushner, the report notes: "Strums of heartstrings blend with the wise wind's hum/A verse on the breeze, where the endless roads run/In this quiet kingdom of stone and sun/Her spirit's verse is a melody spun."

Newsweek emailed the Ivanka Trump spokesperson for comment but appears not to have received a reply.

As of Wednesday, Eric remains Trump's lone family member to show up to the Manhattan criminal trial.

While other political allies have attended, the family has remained largely silent. Trump's wife, Melania, has not made an appearance.
