Ukrainian teacher-turned-rapper Alyona Alyona and YouTube sensation Jerry Heil launched their solo careers in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
The pair quickly gained popularity in their own genres - rap and pop music, respectively.

Their collaboration began after the full-scale invasion when they felt the need to speak out together.
Their first joint song was "Molytva" (Prayer), which they presented in March 2022. While the powerful anthem didn't reach the streaming services, Ukrainians fell in love with the duo, and a sensational partnership was born.
The pair traveled Europe to perform and raise money to aid Ukraine.
They released another 12 collaborations, four of which were included in their joint mini-album Dai Boh. They also worked with several European artists and Ukrainian singer KOLA.
They won the always-difficult 'Vidbir', Ukraine's national selection competition for Eurovision, in January 2024 with their hit Teresa & Maria.

Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil kept alive Ukraine's impressive record of qualifying for every Eurovision final that the country has participated in - 17 times in a row.
This year's final will be held on Saturday, May 11 in Malmo, Sweden.
The director-producer of Teresa & Maria is Ukrainian director Tanu Muino, who has worked with such artists as Katy Perry, Harry Styles, Lenny Kravitz, and Jennifer Lopez.
