Arsenal fans are all now cracking the same jokes about Harry Kane after Bayern Munich crashed out of the Champions League.
Bayern Munich were eliminated from the Champions League at the semi-final stage after a 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid last night.
The German giants knocked Arsenal out of Europe’s elite club competition in the previous round, and looked destined to reach the final, where they would’ve met their domestic rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern Munich led 1-0 in the Bernabeu last night, which would have been enough to see them through, before former Stoke City man Joselu equalised in the 88th minute and then struck again in the 91st to complete a quick fire turnaround.
Arsenal foe Harry Kane continues wait for silverware
This result means that Harry Kane will end this season without a trophy, as the Bundesliga has already been won by Bayer Leverkusen, who will also contest the DFB-Pokal final FC Kaiserslautern later this month.
Kane never got his hands on any silverware during his long stint on the books with Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, and hasn’t landed a prize whilst on international duty either.
The 30-year-old striker, who has been one of the most prolific and lauded goalscorers in world football for years, is still yet to win a single trophy in his career, much to the amusement of many Arsenal fans.
Whilst Mikel Arteta is potentially on the verge of guiding the Gunners to a Premier League title triumph, Kane will now have to come to terms with having been part of the first Bayern Munich side to fail to win a major trophy since 2012.
Many Arsenal fans have now taken this opportunity to laugh at Kane, who they will have many bad memories of being punished by whilst he represented Spurs.

Another mocked Kane, recalling something he said in 2018: “Harry Kane really thought he could swear on his daughter’s life over a goal against Stoke and get away with it.”
