Chelsea told they have a 15-year-old at the club who is already worth as much as Estevao Willian

Chelsea are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Brazilian youngster Estevao Willian this summer.

It was claimed yesterday that they had come to an agreement on personal terms with the 17-year-old, and it was only the two clubs that needed to work out details.

Estevao is likely going to set the Blues back the largest fee yet of any of their young signings, with them not afraid to sign a plethora of young talent.

The highlight addition before now has been Kendry Paez, who actually features in a similar role to the current Palmerias man.

There will be an element of concern for the current academy starlets coming through the club that their path to first team football will be obscured.

Chelsea told Rio Ngumoha is as good as Estevao Willian

One of those is Rio Ngumoha, with the 15-year-old making plenty of waves at Cobham.

The Secret Scout is a huge admirer of the youngster, and took to Twitter to warn that he believes if he wasn’t already at Chelsea, the Blues would be wanting to bid similar for him.

He said: “He operates both sides, he was actually a 10, recently wide now. It’s more to the point that If Rio was in a Brazil and Estevao was in England. There would be a 60m pound bid pending for Rio…”

Chelsea may still have to sell Conor Gallagher

Chelsea supporters will likely be fearing also that the additions of expensive young stars for the future could come at the expense of their current first team prospects.

Fans will be hoping this summer does not see them forced to part ways with a number of important players in order to balance the books and add to their ranks.

The main player who is at risk of this is Conor Gallagher, despite the fact that he has played a crucial role in the first season at Stamford Bridge of Mauricio Pochettino.
