Arsenal fans have now had their say concerning the latest transfer rumour surrounding Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
Arsenal will soon be in the market for a new goalkeeper.
Aaron Ramsdale is almost certain to leave the Emirates Stadium in the upcoming summer transfer window. The 25-year-old lost his starting berth to Brentford loanee David Raya this season and now needs to move on in order to get his career back on track elsewhere.
Arsenal are expected to sign two goalkeepers this summer. One of those deals will be the permanent signing of Raya for £27 million. However, Mikel Arteta will also need to go into the market for a replacement for Ramsdale as the Gunners’ new back up option.
The North London club reportedly hold an interest in Wojciech Szczesny. The Polish shot-stopper previously represented Arsenal between 2006 and 2017, and could now be in line for a shock return for Arsenal.

Szczesny made 181 appearances for Arsenal in his first stint at the club, winning two FA Cups. However, his relationship with then-manager Arsene Wenger soured in 2015 after he was caught smoking a cigarette in the showers after a match, as reported by The Standard.
The 34-year-old was dropped to the bench after that incident and spent the next two seasons on loan with Roma, before joining Juventus permanently as their heir to the iconic Gianluigi Buffon.
The 81-cap Poland international has since enjoyed a successful stint in Serie A, winning three league titles, amongst other honours, as he has made 250 appearances for the Turin-based outfit.
If Arteta were to tempt Szczesny back to the Emirates Stadium, it would be fascinating to see if he would simply serve as Raya’s understudy or if he could seriously challenge for a regular starting berth.
