Paris and Nicole’s TV show

Paris recently channelled her Simple Life persona in a promotional campaign for her new self-tanner, The Future Airbrush 360 Self-Tan Mist, and just weeks later, it’s been revealed she and Nicole are reuniting.

The new TV show starring Paris and Nicole – over 20 years after The Simple Life – was subtly teased by both the duo on Instagram, where they shared matching collages of throwback photos.

They captioned them, “From Day 1: Sill and Bill,” a nod to their beloved nicknames. It’s confirmed the project has been simmering for months, with Paris and Nicole brainstorming and exchanging ideas.

Why they ‘stopped’ being friends

In 2005, rumors circulated that the former besties of the 2000s ended their friendship after Paris allegedly did not invite Nicole to her Saturday Night Live hosting gig after season 3.

Nicole responded by screening an intimate video of Paris’s at a party, as per People. Paris said, “It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. Nicole knows what she did, that’s all I’m going to say.”

Finally, after a two-year rift, the reality stars reunited in 2007 and opened up about their relationship. “I don’t even know why we’re fighting. I think it’s just the tabloids,” Paris told Nicole in season 5.

Throwback to The Simple Life

The Simple Life was filmed in 2003 to 2007, where Paris and Nicole called themselves “Sill and Bill” for a laugh. They adopted hilarious personas, such as Paris wearing the denim corset and miniskirt get-up.

It famously followed the socialites as they navigated menial jobs across America, and at one point, moved in with the Leding family in the small town of Altus, Arkansas, as they learned how to be middle class.

They experienced what it’s like to have low-paid jobs, such as by cleaning rooms, farm work, serving meals in fast-food restaurants, and working as camp counsellors.
