Kim Kardashian is losing Instagram followers quicker than we can count. In 30 days, she’s lost half a million fans on the platform, which began as soon as Taylor Swift allegedly wrote a song about her.
Although Kim Kardashian tried to win back attention at the Met Gala, sporting a tighter-than-ever corset dress, her follower count on Instagram is getting totally lost, thanks to Swift’s new album.
Kim Kardashian losing followers
Kim Kardashian now has 363M followers, having lost 583,980 followers on the platform over the last 30 days. However, her internet demand has hit a three-month high, despite her dwindling follower count.
Global Google searches for the star soared 348% following her appearance at the Met Gala. Searches for the reality star also spiked over two times the average search volume of the previous two months.
She had 364.3M followers before Taylor Swift’s new album dropped, but Kim Kardashian’s follower count has suddenly dropped to 363.8M. However, an ICMP study previously found half of her followers are fake!
It all started with Swift’s new track
Taylor Swift wrote a song called thanK you aIMee, which is believed to be about Kim Kardashian. Swift fans noticed a major sign – that the capital letters in the song title spell out ‘Kim’.
The 24th song on Taylor’s album involves lyrics such as “”There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it / That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.”
She sings: “And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues / And one day, your kid comes home singing a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.”
North and Kim share a TikTok together and have previously danced along to Taylor’s 2014 hit Shake It Off. In another section, Swift says, “B*****, f*** you and your ex-husband.”
‘The end of the Kardashians’
Fans believe the end of the Kardashians’ fame is on its way as Kim loses followers. When Kim dressed as a Margiela broken doll, a follower wrote, “The end of the kardashians is here.”
Others commented that they “sure hope so,” with several agreeing their fame is coming to a close. It comes as fans slammed her for dressing in a war-like outfit while Rafah faces war.
“Maybe if you were in Rafah you wouldn’t have to pretend to wear a broken/wounded look and get the real deal! At this point it’s just mockery,” penned a follower.
