A former top scorer in the Italian Serie A, Guiseppe Savoldi, has hailed Victor Osimhen for his consistency over the years for Napoli.
The Nigeria international is regarded by fans and pundits alike as one of the finest strikers in European football.
Osimhen finished as the Serie A top scorer last season and is hoping to finish the season strongly, having been dealt a great blow with injury worries.
The former Lille star has scored four goals in his last five Serie A games to take his tally to 15.
“Victor Osimhen scored a goal at Savoldi, in Udine? Beyond his characteristics and comparisons, he is a sensational player, a driving force; if he is well and is on the day, he makes the difference,” Savoldi told Radio Marte via Area Napoli.
“The year last time he played alone. Stork-like legs that allow him to get everywhere. With his head, he’s really exceptional.”
