Russian forces attempted to expand operations against Ukraine today. However, the Armed Forces are strengthening the defense of the front line, announces President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an evening address.

"Today, Russian forces attempted to expand operations against Ukraine. We understand the scale of the occupier's forces and see their intentions. Our soldiers, our artillery, our drones are responding to the occupier. I am grateful to every soldier, every sergeant, every officer who is defending our positions exactly as needed," said Zelenskyy.

According to him, there is currently reinforcement of forces on the Kharkiv direction and along the border line with Russia.

"Along our state border and across the entire front line, we will consistently destroy the occupier in such a way as to thwart any Russian offensive intentions," the president stated.
