Thomas Rhett is not only a successful country artist, but he is the king of all dads. Rhett and his wife, Lauren, have four kids who are now finally all out of diapers.
I recently sat down with the “Beautiful as You” singer, and he detailed where he and his wife are right now in their relationship status.
“My wife and I are just having fun again, dude,” Rhett said. “We’re not in the diaper phase anymore, we’re actually having date nights and hangin’ with friends until after midnight.”
Rhett admitted, “It sounds kinda lame, but it’s a big shift for us.”
The “Die a Happy Man” singer explained, “For the first time in eight years, I feel like Lauren and I are in this kind of freedom phase of life, if you will. We haven’t experienced it in a while. Our kids are doing things for themselves. They’re waking up for school, they’re bathing alone.”
Having four kids — all girls — Rhett and his wife admitted to being running at “Mach 10″ speed. Rhett told me that he is excited for his next upcoming project, which will feature more upbeat and cheerful songs.
Rhett has done a wonderful job over his career making songs that tug on fans’ heartstrings and emotions. He just released “Beautiful as You” as the first single from his upcoming full-length album, with details to be announced.
