Air ambulance, police, paramedics and fire crews attend Bridgefield Park in Herdwick Close, Ashford following medical emergency

Emergency services were called to a children’s play park this afternoon.

Police, paramedics and a fire engine were spotted at Bridgefield Park in Herdwick Close, Ashford at around 3pm.

Footage also shows an air ambulance flying over the Bridgefield and Finberry estates.

It is believed a child suffered an injury on a piece of apparatus at the park.

One onlooker said: “There was a couple of ambulances, three police cars and a fire engine.

“We’ve just heard the air ambulance go over too.

“Apparently somebody has fallen off a climbing frame.”

The incident in Herdwick Close is being dealt with by SECAmb

Police have confirmed the incident is being dealt with by South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb).

They and Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) have been approached for more information.
