With the $82 million renovation to Memorial Coliseum almost complete, the Kentucky women’s basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, and STUNT teams all had to find a new home last season. With the project being targeted to be finished prior to this fall, each of those programs should be able to move back into its usual home gym for the 2024-25 season.
In preparation for this, UK has released its seat selection process for Memorial Coliseum for the 2024-25 year. This does not apply to the STUNT team, however. Admission to their home games is free.
For those of you who already had season tickets in 2023-24, you’ll need to select new seats due to the seating layout at Memorial Coliseum. The newly renovated venue will hold approximately 6,250 people compared to the 8,500 it was before.
“The seat selection process for volleyball, women’s basketball and gymnastics will start the week of June 17, running through July 19,” UK announced.
According to UK, “The order in which you will select your seats will be based on your K Fund priority ranking as of April 30, 2024.”
It is worth noting that this specific time period is for current season ticket holders only. For those who do not currently have season tickets, you’ll need to get in line by making a deposit first. Fans who are current season ticket holders do not need to make this deposit.
In the release, UK said, “Those who make deposits will be contacted beginning in late July to choose their seats, after the seat selection process for current ticket holders is complete.”
