Super Rich in Korea stars Teodoro Marani and Hyunji made their Netflix debut this May. During episode 6, fans swooned over the two’s super romantic date. When it comes to Teo’s business life, he describes himself as having an “Italian background and a Korean future,” but his love life appears less than crystal clear as fans are eager to know where he and Hyunji stand.
As the heir to a luxury Italian fashion brand, the hosts of the Netflix show can’t help but compare their success to Teo’s. He’s the same age as some of them. Not only is he impressing everyone in the entrepreneurial department, but Teodoro is getting kudos for being “so romantic” during his date. He puts an apron on for Hyunji and feeds her homemade pasta.

During Super Rich in Korea episode 6, Teodoro shares his passion for Italian food with Hyunji.
Speaking during the Netflix show, he says: “I wanted to impress Hyunji and I brought her to the showroom to get to know each other. I want to show her what I do, what my passions are.”
As soon as his date arrived, Teo sent compliments her way as she said she “dressed up” for the occasion.

He revealed a “surprise” he had for her, and presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers that “matched her dress.”
The two held hands as she showed her a rare $1 million house from WW1 and many more equally as (expensive) and historical items.
Teo and Hyunji then make food together, which appears to be his way to woo the ladies.
He says: “When I meet somebody I like I tend to cook for them. If you take a bite, you fall for me right away.”
Did Teo’s ‘charm’ pay off?
Taking to Instagram, Teo says he thinks he gets his “charm” from his father who he likens to “Tony Stark” and his “sexiness” from his mother.
He clearly isn’t short on “charm” but fans are curious to know whether his suave moves paid off and he and Hyunji are now a couple.
Despite cooking “one of his best recipes, fregola pasta risotto,” Teo and Hyunji don’t appear to be together.
During the date, they agree they “should meet again soon” but fans aren’t convinced anything has come of the romantic date.
Teo also said: “I think she’s really into me,” but the two aren’t following one another on Instagram at the time of writing.
