Tatsuki Mizuno hit a walk-off single as the Nippon Ham Fighters scored three runs in the ninth inning to complete a three-game sweep of the Lotte Marines with a 6-5 victory Sunday.
Ariel Martinez ripped an RBI triple to get Nippon Ham within a run before pinch-hitter Torai Fushimi's bases-loaded single tied the game and set the stage for Mizuno with one out at Es Con Field Hokkaido, just outside Sapporo.
Mizuno then singled on a ground ball to right field.
Lotte closer Naoya Masuda allowed all four batters he faced to reach base, one on an error, in the ninth before being relieved by Shota Suzuki.
In other action, Hiroto Saiki threw a complete-game shutout as the Hanshin Tigers edged the DeNA BayStars 1-0.
