'What a signing'... Ray Parlour raves over £27m Arsenal star during his display v Man Utd

Ray Parlour has raved on social media over one Arsenal star’s performance against Manchester United this afternoon.

The Gunners secured a huge three points in their penultimate game of the Premier League season with Arsenal winning at Old Trafford for only the first time since 2020, with the north London side also coming away as 1-0 victors that day.

With just one game left to go, the Premier League title race could go to the final day with Manchester City having two fixtures remaining, with Arsenal players doing all they can to pip Pep Guardiola’s side to the championship.

And Parlour was impressed with one Arsenal star in particular against United.

Parlour lauds Leandro Trossard after Arsenal performance vs Manchester United

Taking to Twitter, the Arsenal legend was full of praise for Leandro Trossard, who brought his Premier League tally up to 12 goals with his vital strike at Old Trafford earlier today.

Signed for £27m last January from Brighton & Hove Albion, Trossard has been one of Arsenal’s best signings in recent memory given how low expectations originally were for the Belgian international.

Indeed, Trossard has not only provided an impressive amount of goals since moving to north London, but has also proven to be a huge threat for opposing teams having scored in some huge games.

As well as United, Trossard has found the back of the net against Liverpool, FC Porto and Bayern Munich, and it’s easy to see why the likes of Parlour are such big fans of the 29-year-old winger already at Arsenal.

Trossard again showed why he has been a bargain signing for Arsenal

Expectations were low for Trossard when the winger was signed as a backup option for Mykhailo Mudryk, yet a year on since the transfer, Arsenal have been proven right in their decision.

The attacker has been worth every penny for the Gunners with Trossard earning a reputation as one of Arsenal’s most clutch players and someone who can be relied upon with a goal or two in big matches.

And whilst Mudryk would have been exciting, Trossard has blown all expectations out of the water and then some, with the Belgian playing his part in this ongoing title race.
