TV star seemingly confirms rekindled romance - 'You're the best mom, we love you'

When the all-new season of 7 Little Johnstons kicked off this year, Liz Johnston was seeking advice from her sister about how to break things off with Brice Bolden. However, things got a little complicated when the two found out they were expecting their first child together. This Mother’s Day, the reality stars seemingly confirm their romance is back on.

7 Little Johnstons fans saw Liz dealing with some tough times in season 14. Episode 11 sees the star navigating the complexities of her love life. But, thankfully, nowadays, it seems no more tears are being shed. Liz is being hailed “the best mom in the world” by her sister and her partner.

Liz Johnston’s first Mother’s Day

During 7 Little Johnstons season 14 fans got to see some super emotional scenes play out as Liz navigated her split from her long-term boyfriend, Brice.

Liz was looking for a relationship similar to that of her parents. She said they’d managed to keep their spark alive for decades and wanted to emulate the same thing.

During the episodes, Liz is conflicted as she says Brice is a “genuinely good guy,” but she needs more from the romance.

Things take a different turn when the two find out they are having a child together. Liz and Brice welcomed Leighton Drew in November 2023.

On May 12, the reality TV star celebrated her first Mother’s Day. She dedicated an Instagram post to her daughter, writing how becoming Leighton’s mom is the “greatest privilege of her entire life.”

Liz also wrote: “I’m so thankful to have a built in best friend to call mine forever, I love you sweet girl.”

Brice shows Liz love

Not only did Brice comment on Liz’s Mother’s Day Instagram post, but he also shared his own words online on the special day.

Taking to the ‘gram, Brice wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom in the world. Me and Leighton love you more than you’ll ever know!”

Liz’s sister, Emma Johnston, also took to IG to celebrate Liz’s first Mother’s Day. She describes her sister a being the “most caring, loving mom.”

Emma also commented on Liz’ post: “She’s so lucky to have the best momma in the world.”
