Manchester United are cooking up a lethal finisher in the academy ranks, he looks to have no weak foot

Manchester United, in the present moment, are not in the best place as a club.

There is uncertainty around the manager, there needs to be a bucketload of new signings/players sold and, most importantly, results are simply not going there way.

It really isn’t a fun time to be a Manchester United fan. But, alas, there’s always looking to the future, which with an abundance of academy talent emerging through, does look seriously bright.

There is someone in the academy ranks who already looks like hes going to be a worldbeater at such a young age.

Kai Rooney for Manchester United

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney will be hoping his son can go on to acheieve even a small protion of the greatness he achieved at Old Trafford. But it looks like he’s starting off in the right way.

In October 2016, Kai Rooney enrolled in the Manchester United youth academy, but switched to rivals Manchester City just two months later.

But then after returning to England after his fathers tenure in America, Kai joined the Red Devils in December 2018 – and hasn’t looked back since.

He broke Manchester United’s record for goals scored in a single season at under-12 level, with 56. Now, at 14, he looks even better. A video has emerged that boasts similarities to Mason Greenwood on the pitch.

Kai Rooney looks lethal on the pitch

A video has gone viral of Kai on X working on his finishing skills. He looks just as lethal as his dad was. Kai also looks to be incredibly two footed and finishes superbly at such a young age.

He looks like a serious talent. To heart chants of ‘Rooney’ going around Old Trafford again would be goosebump enducing.
