‘Comforting’: Alan Myers outlines what is now happening at Everton ‘behind the scenes’ to stabilise the club

At Everton, across the last few years, positivity has been a commodity in precious reserve.

In fact, this fanbase has not really enjoyed any sustained period of calm enjoyment for nearly a decade now.

However, under Sean Dyche, that could be set to change, as the 52-year-old knows exactly what needs to be done when it comes to keeping a side afloat on a shoestring budget.

Already he has cultivated a squad more than capable of avoiding the drop with ease, but that is almost certainly set to be ravaged this summer after Kevin Thelwell’s recent revelation.

Fortunately, Alan Myers has sought to maintain positivity with his latest update.

Alan Myers issues behind-the-scenes Everton update

Taking to X, the Sky Sports reporter has made a conscious effort to try and keep the fans well-informed for many years now.

And whether that be good or bad, he never lets his own biases slip into his thinking; an admirable trait for someone in his position.

This only helps to solidify his stance as one of the most reliable journalists covering Everton at the moment, thus making his positive updates all the more exciting.

He is to be trusted, and therefore amidst all the turmoil surrounding 777 Partners’ fluctuating takeover and threats of administration, this fresh report will relieve so much pressure.

When one fan sought to laud him for his uplifting outlook, he only added to that notion: ‘Lots going on behind the scenes, many people working hard to make the club stable again and provide a good future, it’s comforting to know they’re there.’

Brief positivity emerging at Everton at last

With this update, as well as reports that Farhad Moshiri is now looking elsewhere for parties to take over at Everton, it does seem like there is a brief light at the end of the tunnel.

In fact, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol even detailed this not too long ago, almost hinting towards this brighter future which we seem to be creeping towards.

And whilst it will not last forever, with a summer of mass outgoings almost guaranteed now, at least it promises a more stable footing for the Toffees to build from in the coming seasons.

As long as they can stay alive until they leave Goodison Park, it does feel like Everton will be okay.

Should they pick up a wealthy investor to lead them there along the way would only help ease what promises, at this moment in time, to be a very rocky process.
