Tyson Fury's 15-word message to his father after seeing John covered in blood after violent clash

Tyson Fury was left shocked after seeing his father covered in blood at the start of fight week for the heavyweight unification bout.

Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are in Saudi Arabia for the hotly-anticipated heavyweight clash on May 18.

Media day saw the respective teams face off for the first time since the fight was first announced last year.

The small room wasn't enough to contain both camps from clashing as chants of 'Usyk' and 'Fury' rang around the room from each respective team.

Tyson Fury was shocked when he saw his dad

Tyson's dad Fury was at the forefront of his camp as they clashed with Usyk before the verbal sparring descended into chaos.

Fury headbutted a member of Usyk's team after taking offence to something he said with security then stepping in to separate them both.

Footage of the incident emerged on social media blood streaming from John's forehead.

Tyson entered the room later with his arms raised and smiling from ear-to-ear.

But his smile soon disappeared when he saw his 59-year-old dad still bleeding.

Tyson said: "What's happened to your head you silly c***?

“How have you cut yourself like that?”

John has since spoken out on the incident and explained why he felt the need to react the way he did to the member of Usyk's team.

Tyson Fury managed to see the funny side

“Sincere apologies to everybody involved," he said.

"It's just the way we are. Emotions and tensions are running high.

"He was a very disrespectful fella. If you come close in a fighting man's space, you're gonna cop for something.
