A man was arrested on Wednesday on charges related to the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
Solomon Blay, 41, of Union, is charged with kidnapping by unlawful confinement, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday.
The alleged assault occurred in Union. Prosecutors did not disclose the age of the alleged victim.
Blay is being held in Essex County Jail. His detention hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
