Former President Donald Trump went on a Truth Social spree, hours after his onetime fixer Michael Cohen took the stand in his criminal hush money trial, with rapid-pace quotes attacking the legitimacy of the trial.

Trump published 11 quotes on his social media site after delivering a shouting rant outside the Manhattan courtroom where he stands accused of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Among the quotes he posted were from right-wing National Review editor Andrew McCarthy.

“Bragg has no authority to enforce Federal Law," the quote reads. "The NDA payments were not Campaign expenditures under Federal Law...That’s why the FEC and DOJ — which do have exclusive authority to enforce Federal Law — took no action against Trump...Bragg is making up his own version of Federal Campaign Law.” He also quoted far-right talk radio host Mark Levin, who said, "This is a case looking for a Legal basis. THERE IS NONE!"

Trump also quoted his former acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).

“Another day of trial, and nowhere close to allegations or evidence of illegality," Whitaker's quote reads.

"“Objective is to keep Trump off the Campaign trail," adds Scott, as per Trump's quotation. "[It’s a] two-tiered Justice System, Sham, and not a Courtroom - This is a stage to find Trump guilty in eyes of public – Shameful!”

Cohen, who is slated return to court for further questioning and cross examination by the defense, testified Monday that the former president had arranged the hush payments and not for the sake of sparing his family from embarrassment.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges and denies affairs with adult film star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal. His supporters say Trump wanted to protect his family from unfounded gossip.

Manhattan District Alvin Bragg contends Trump wanted to prevent voters from learning about philandering habits, at a moment when he was also under scrutiny for the "Access Hollywood" tape.

Trump contends Bragg is conducting a political witch hunt and argues Cohen cannot be trusted because he has already admitted to lying to Congress.

Cohen says he did this at Trump's direction.
