Report: Saudi Arabian clubs are now trying to sign one of Liverpool’s best players who is ‘incredible’

According to the latest reports, Saudi Arabian clubs are now eyeing up one of Liverpool’s best players in the summer transfer window.

It’s going to be yet another whirlwind of a summer transfer window. January was relatively quiet. However, this summer things are going to be stepping up a gear with Saudi Arabia likely to return to the fold again.

At Liverpool, things are going to be busy because it’s going to be a time of change.

There’s a big turnaround of staff and players and a new backroom team coming in with the likes of Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes taking charge.

Alisson Becker transfer latest

Last summer, with the emergence of the Saudi Arabian market, there were surprise departures at Liverpool. Most notably, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho both left for big money moves to Saudi Arabian clubs.

The same cannot be ruled out this time around either. Edwards and Hughes are both smart businessmen and if they get the right offer they will sell.

One of the Liverpool players being courted by Saudi Arabian clubs at the moment is Alisson Becker according to The Telegraph.

Who could replace Alisson Becker at Liverpool?

That would be an unprecedented move as Alisson is one of Liverpool’s best players. He’s recently been described as ‘incredible’ for his heroics in goal by Ben Foster.

However, if Liverpool did get an offer they could not refuse it could potentially open the door to Alisson leaving.

In terms of replacements, there are a few very promising young goalkeepers in European football at the moment. Giorgi Mamardashvili of Valencia is one of those. At 23-years-old, he is still very young but has showcased not only his excellent shot-stopping ability but also his ability on the ball.

Another potential target could be Anatoliy Trubin, who is 22-years-old and has been brilliant for Benfica all season.
