‘You are so cold’: Morgan Rogers hails Aston Villa star after 3-3 draw against Liverpool

What a comeback from Aston Villa!

It could and should have been the winner, but Aston Villa’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool on Monday night could prove to be very valuable in the race for fourth.

Champions League football is now in the team’s sights and they should have Jhon Duran to thank after his incredible performance from the bench.

Aston Villa looked down and out at 3-1, and with five minutes left on the clock, their super sub sparked the game into life again.

Unai Emery would have been very frustrated watching his team from the sidelines because they should have put the game to bed a long time ago.

That Emiliano Martinez error was just a horror and it left many fans shocked because no one could believe what they had just witnessed, not even the Liverpool players.

That meant that the home team were constantly on the back foot and chasing the game, even when Youri Tielemans equalised ten minutes later.

But thanks to the unpredictable Duran, Villa sealed an important point, with the player expressing his delight on Instagram.

The 20-year-old stated that it was an ‘incredible night at Villa Park’ before being lauded in the comments section, including by the currently-injured, Morgan Rogers.

“You are so cold,” wrote Rogers in the comments section of Duran’s IG post, with Ezri Konsa sending him a love heart emoji and Moussa Diaby posting fire emojis.

Jack Grealish and Manchester City

Every Villa fan will be hoping Jack Grealish and Manchester City can do them a favour on Tuesday night when they face Spurs.

If Ange Postecoglou’s side fail to win, then Champions League football will be returning to Villa Park.

And a certain Jack Grealish is expected to be in Manchester City’s squad!

It would be even more special if he is the one to score the goal that helps his team to Europe’s elite competition following his £100 million transfer in 2021.

Even if Spurs get the win, it’s still in Villa’s hands heading into the final day against Crystal Palace. If you are Emery, you just don’t want to do it the hard way.
