Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna may be 72 and 60 years old, but they’re bringing more energy than most do in their twenties. Not only are Harry and Lisa defying the aging process, but they seem to be oozing “happiness”, too. Even some dodgy moments from Harry Hamlin’s past, including a short spell in jail, are being flipped into positives.
Lisa Rinna is no longer a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills. But, she’s still reaping the rewards of being an iconic Bravo star, nonetheless. While she spent her younger years acting, modeling, and appearing in music videos, Harry has an equally impressive past. He was once hailed the “Sexiest Man Alive” and starred in 1981 movie Clash of the Titans.
Harry Hamlin’s jail time
Lisa and Harry may not be appearing as Real Housewives stars these days, but they’re still getting in front of the camera on the all-new series In the Kitchen With Harry Hamlin.
The TV show, which Harry tells The New York Post he had no interest in doing, kicks off its first episode on Wednesday, May 15.
During the episodes, he’s set to star alongside his niece, Renee Guilbault, who’s a chef.
While the two whip up some dishes, conversation reportedly turns to Harry’s younger years, the time he was arrested – and did jail time.
Lisa’s hubby of almost three decades explained to The Post: “An older fraternity brother asked me to take some pills to another fraternity brother down South, and they looked in my bag, I got caught… I guess I was a mule. I didn’t even know what the stuff was, but I went to jail for that. I recommend 18 days in jail for everybody. It’s a good leveler. I think I was 18 or 19 at the time.”
Lisa doesn’t share Harry’s passion
Judging by Harry Hamlin’s take on jail time and Lisa’s recent appearance on Sherri, the two are oozing positivity.
When asked how she “keeps getting sexier and sexier,” on Sheri, Lisa says: “I’m happy. Happiness shines through.”
Lisa is all about having fun, as she says she’s “aging disgracefully” these days. She’s not into being “graceful and safe,” she says she “wants to break rules.”
The couple clearly has enough in common to stay married for so many years. But, when it comes to the kitchen, that’s purely Harry’s domain.
Lisa is set to appear on In the Kitchen with her husband, but “she doesn’t like cooking or throwing dinner parties.”
Harry tells the post how his wife’s domain is “fashion” – something Lisa’s Instagram followers are well aware of – remember that Bianca Censori-esq bodysuit?
