Report: Champions League semi-finalists now look to create Ten Hag's dream duo by signing 'amazing' Man Utd player

This summer is expected to see the exit of quite a few Manchester United players, but now it’s reported there could be a surprising exit.

Ahead of the first summer under Ineos rule, Manchester United have a lot of work to do after a horrendous campaign which could yet end as the club’s worst in Premier League history.

A squad overhaul is desperately needed, and it seems to already be happening with Raphael Varane confirmed as a departure, and Anthony Martial is likely to follow closely behind.

Aside from free transfer exits, there are still several players on the list to sell, including Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Casemiro.

But now recent reports have suggested that one other player could be in line to exit, with the club interested in creating Ten Hag’s dream attacking duo.

Bruno Fernandes could be heading to Bayern Munich

In what would be a catastrophic blow to United, reports have now tied Bruno Fernandes with making a potential move to Bayern Munich.

This comes according to Miguel Delaney who reported that the feeling in Munich is that United may need to do business to meet PSR requirements for an overhaul to take place.

Continuing, it’s reported that a sense of drift strikes Bruno himself at Old Trafford and has ambitions in football which currently aren’t being met by United.

This could also be a sign of Thomas Tuchel remaining at the club considering he’s been keen to sign a playmaker to link up with Harry Kane.

Bayern could form partnership that Ten Hag was desperate for at Manchester United

Last summer, prior to signing Rasmus Hojlund, it seemed like a real possibility that Kane would be moving to the Theatre of Dreams.

This could’ve given the league’s best creator in Bruno, a number nine who’s arguably the world’s best right now.

Ten Hag was desperate to see this move happen, and the ‘amazing’ Bruno would likely also have loved this to happen.

So Ten Hag’s dream duo could be about to link up in Munich, where he’s been linked with a job.

This pairing would be a devastating duo for the rest of Europe to compete against next season, and losing Bruno would be equally as devastating for this woeful United side.

Bruno has been singlehandedly carrying United at periods in his time at the club and losing him would mean United needs to invest in the creativity department.
