Godwin Developments secures planning permission to build services complex on A47 in Wisbech

A developer has gainet permission to go ahead with plans to build a petrol station, hotel and drive-thru units in Wisbech.

Godwin Developments have secured the 9.5 acre site adjacent to the busy A47.

The site could contain hotels, fast food drive-thrus, a petrol station and a hotel.

The scheme, named Wisbech Gateway, has been designed to deliver industrial, commercial and roadside spaces and includes associated infrastructure, landscaping, and car parking.

The site is close to the A47, which sees around 6.5 million vehicles pass on it per year.
