Report: Arsenal will hold talks with club about their 'incredible' £43m star in next few days

The next few days could be huge for Arsenal on the pitch, but they could also be pivotal behind the scenes, with the Gunners set to hold talks over a move for one striker imminently.

Mikel Arteta’s men will go into the final day of the season with an opportunity to win the Premier League title, but it appears that they are looking to improve their squad even further when the summer transfer window opens.

Kai Havertz has been a revelation since being pushed up front, but it seems that Arsenal are planning to make a move for at least one new striker at the end of the campaign.

And according to a report from TEAMtalk, Arsenal are set to hold talks with RB Leipzig in the next few days concerning a move for Benjamin Sesko.

Arsenal set for talks with RB Leipzig over Benjamin Sesko

Sesko has long been considered one of the most exciting striker prospects in Europe, and, like Havertz, he reminded everyone of how good he can be in 2024.

The Slovenian scored three league goals before the turn of the year, but has since found the back of the net 10 times, including six in his last six.

Sesko is available for around £43 million in the summer due to a release clause in his contract, and Arsenal apparently view that as a fair price for the 20-year-old.

In fact, Arsenal will speak with Leipzig imminently to discuss the potential terms required to do a deal as they look to win the race for the youngster’s signature.

Kai Havertz opens the door for Gunners to prioritise £43m deal

Arsenal undoubtedly need to sign another striker this summer, but the form of Kai Havertz has taken some of the pressure off of Edu – and it perhaps open the door for the Gunners to target a player who is not yet the finished article.

Sesko is an ‘incredible‘ talent and he appears to have huge potential. So it would be a real statement if Arsenal could get a deal done.

It appears that the Gunners will soon get a better idea of how feasible a move could be this summer.
