"Overall, as of 23:00 on May 14, Ukrainian military units repelled 11 enemy attacks in the directions of Hlyboke - Lyptsi, Lukiantsi - Lyptsi, Borysivka - Neskuchne, and Shebekino (Russian Federation) - Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction. Three combat encounters were still ongoing at that time.
"In some areas near Lukiantsi and Vovchansk, due to enemy fire and assault actions, to preserve the lives of our servicemen and avoid losses, units maneuvered and moved to more advantageous positions. The fighting continues. Ukrainian units prevent the Russian army from consolidating their positions. Counterattacking actions are being carried out, and the enemy is under constant artillery and UAV fire from the Defense Forces," the statement said.
On this front, the Russian army lost 162 servicemen, and 26 units of their equipment and military vehicles were destroyed or damaged.
