EPL table: Man City on verge of 4th consecutive title after 2-0 win over Spurs

Manchester City beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 on Tuesday night, to stand on the verge of winning the Premier League title for a fourth consecutive season.

The champions travelled to North London, knowing if they drop points, it would hand the initiative to Arsenal.

And it appeared this was going to be the case after the first half ended without any goals.

However, in the second half, Erling Haaland tapped in Kevin De Bruyne’s low cross for his 26th goal of the season.

Haaland scored the second of the game from the penalty spot after Jeremy Doku was fouled in the area.

City will be crowned champions on Sunday if they beat West Ham.
