Netflix star apologizes to 'all women' after big betrayal - 'I want to be better'

Reality TV shows often come with their fair share of “villains” and Netflix’s Love Is Blind and Ultimatum series are no exceptions. Fans are unlikely to forget Shake Chatterjee’s time on Love Is Blind in a hurry. Despite some stars being branded as “villains” and having nothing to say about it, The Ultimatum South Africa’s Nolla reportedly issued a now-deleted apology for his actions.

Netflix‘s social experiment shows have gone down a treat with fans. Since Love Is Blind first arrived on the scene four years ago, viewers have been hooked. Then, The Ultimatum dropped on the streaming service two years later. Now, fans can feast their eyes on a new South Africa spin-off this May.

The Ultimatum: Nolla ‘owes Lebo an apology’

Nolla and Lebo are one of the six couples putting their relationship to the test among The Ultimatum South Africa’s cast.

The two swap partners, as part of the experiment. Nolla is coupled with Ruth, and Lebo is coupled with Isaac.

While things remained relatively PG for many of the couples, Ruth and Nolla’s pairing ended up in his former relationship falling apart.

Despite getting intimate with Ruth, Nolla still told his male co-stars he had intentions of remaining in a relationship with Lebo.

Ruth said she didn’t think she was “cheating” as she and Isaac “broke up before the marriage trial.”

In episode 5, Nolla said: “I’m walking out of here with Lebo” but his co-stars had a funny feeling “he wasn’t being totally honest about his relationship with Ruth.”

He said he and Lebo “didn’t have boundaries,” adding how he and Ruth give one another “forehead kisses.”

However, he also expressed how he “wanted to marry Lebo,” and said he “didn’t appreciate her enough.”

But, by episode 6, Ruth comes clean to Lebo about sleeping with Nolla, and Lebo says the trust has been “broken.” The marriage is over as a result and Nolla admits he “owes Lebo an apology.”

Nolla’s public apology

Since The Ultimatum arrived on Netflix, its cast members have been taking to social media to share words of “thanks” as well as apologies.

On May 14, Nolla shared a lengthy apology with the word, but it’s since been deleted, reports Sowetan Live.

After “comments about his behavior” came his way on Instagram, Nolla explains he “felt compelled to respond…”

He adds how he “apologizes to all women” as well as Lebo who he says he “cares about deeply.”

Nolla reveals he’s working on becoming a “better person” by going to counseling following the show.
