NNL partners FRCN on Super Eight live broadcast

The Nigeria National League has entered into an agreement with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, to run live commentaries of all the Super Eight playoff matches.

The league’s chairman George Aluo disclosed this in a chat with NNL Media.

Aluo said the arrangement will offer Nigerians the opportunity to follow the games from the kick-off to the finals.

He commended the largest radio network in Africa for the deal.

“I am very excited with the partnership because, for the first time in the history of the league, FRCN will air our matches live,” he told NNL Media.

“What this means is that football fans in the remotest villages of the country will follow the competition from the beginning to the end, because Radio Nigeria covers all parts of the country.

“I must have to say a very big thank you to the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of FRCN Dr.Mohammed Bulama and his management team for graciously accepting to support the most important league in Nigeria.”

The tournament will be held from June 7th-14th, 2024 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

The eight teams that qualified for the NNL promotional Playoff are; Nasarawa United, Sporting Supreme of Abuja, Sokoto United, and El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.

Others are Beyond Limits FC of Ikenne, Madiba FC Lagos, Inter Lagos, and Ikorodu Utd also of Lagos.
