TV star shares cosy snap with co-star after meeting on first-ever lesbian dating show

The I Kissed A Girl cast has made history as they star on TV’s first lesbian dating show. From Em and Amy, to Cara and Eva, girls are matched based by experts and have to kiss before saying a word.

Contestants on BBC‘s new reality show, I Kissed A Girl, are getting to know each other on a romantic level. Some of them have even shared cosy snaps on Instagram since filming wrapped, like Cara and Eva.

I Kissed A Girl cast

Cara

Age: 25

From: Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

Job: Support worker and aesthetician

Instagram: @carakinney98

Cara admits she has walls her up when it comes to relationships and hoped I Kissed a Girl would help her. She said the show was “an opportunity of a lifetime” and often shares pictures with co-star, Eva.

Demi

Age: 23

From: Hemel Hempstead

Job: Publishing executive

Instagram: @demikode

Describing herself as a “baby gay and big reader,” Demi was matched with Fiorenza for the kiss, who she appeared to have a connection with right away. She said her father found her being gay hard to accept.

She left during the first episode and therefore didn’t find a romantic connection. Demi appears to still be single and has kept in touch with her BBC co-stars on the I Kissed a Girl cast.

Abbie

Age: 24

From: Brighton

Job: Make-up artist and hair stylist

Instagram: @_abbiecole

Abbie is looking for a girlfriend who will treat her like a princess and appears to be single. Growing up, Abbie came out to her family when she was 12 years old, and it was a grandad who was her biggest ally.

Amy

Age: 24

From: Surrey, living in London

Job: Social media manager

Instagram: @amy_spalding

Amy Spalding had feelings about her sexuality at 13 years old, but didn’t find the confidence to come out to her family until she was 21. Having been single for three years, she feels she’s been “left on the shelf”.

She recently joked to her supportive ex, who commented, “THAT’S MY EX!!!” on a recent pic, that here’s “still time to put a ring on it,” hinting that she didn’t find love on the BBC show.

Fiorenza

Age: 22

From: Glasgow

Job: Drummer for Uninvited band

Instagram: @fiorenzacocozza

Fiorenza is undoubtedly the most popular contestant on I Kissed A Girl. She is a real “softie” and admits that she falls fast and loves hard, but has mainly been focusing on drumming on tour since last summer.

Georgia

Age: 28

From: Hunmanby, North Yorkshire

Job: Professional footballer

Instagram: @georgiabrt

Having played football since eight years old, Georgia has represented Sheffield united Women FC, Durham Women’s FC and Rugby Borough Women’s Football Club, so dating had to take a backseat.

Now, she’s been to Italy with co-star Eva, recently telling her in Instagram comments, “tried to tell you in Italy I was interested,” after Eva flirtily admitted she “fancies her”.

Meg

Age: 24

From: Goole, West Yorkshire

Job: Fire breather

Instagram:

Introduced as the show’s resident firebreather, she instantly caught the attention of Fiorenza, who she shared a secret kiss with. She travels the world performing at events and wants someone with “energy”.

Meg appears to be holding onto co-star Lailah’s arm at a show event, and shared a snap of them laughing together. Lailah also shared a cute picture of her holding Meg’s long braid.

Lailah

Age: 26

From: Swansea, Cardiff

Job: Professional football player

Instagram: @lailahmuscat

Lailah is a footballer who appears to be close to Meg since she filmed IKAG. She turns up to the series on episode 4 and appears to be super close to her family.

Emily

Age: 25

From: Surrey

Job: Cancer research scientist

Instagram: @emhobern

Emily is one of the new girls on I Kissed A Girl’s cast. She often travels around Europe and is an advocate for the charity, Cancer Research, and is keeping a low profile since filming wrapped.

She was previously in a five year relationship with a man, but after talking about her sexuality they agreed to end their relationship. Em is now attracted to femme women.

Naee

Age: 25

From: London

Job: Engineer

Instagram: @laidbacknaee

Naee admits Priya is “her type” and says they “got one for her” in a Nonchalant Mag interview. She currently follows Priya on Instagram, hinting they’re on good terms since filming.

Priya

Age: 23

From: Newport, South Wales

Job: Hotel customer service

Instagram: @pri.soha

Priya admittedly has a habit of falling fast for girls and is trying to learn to take things at a slower pace. She’s been spotted taking a mirror selfie with co-star Hannah Simpson, who she’s good friends with.

Lisha

Age: 22

From: Caernarfon, Wales

Job: Psychology undergraduate

Instagram: @lishapaige_

Lisha gets close with Abbie on the show, but has received a flirty comment or two from co-star, Em Hobern. She has also played football from a young age but hung up her boots to focus on her studies.

Eva

Age: 22

From: Belfast

Job: Fashion graduate

Instagram: @pimptheimp

Eva has been posting cosy snaps with Cara since filming wrapped, but hasn’t revealed whether they are dating or just friends, both being from Ireland. She describes herself as a “part time baddie”.

Hannah

Age: 24

From: London

Instagram: @hannahhsimpsonx

Hannah has grown close to her co-stars, with Demi commenting on a recent pic that she’s “obsessed with her”. Abbie Cole often says she “loves her” underneath her Instagram pics!

Beth

Age: 25

From: Bath

Job: Paralegal

Instagram: @bethsamara

Beth is a newbie on the I Kissed A Girl cast who loves women with masc energy and says “butch women” are her weakness. Chemistry is really important to Beth as she believes it’s what separates from friendship.

She isn’t in a relationship but wrote, “Above all, I have made friends for life in this process and couldn’t be more proud of all the other amazing women who I got to share this ground-breaking experience with.”
