Three players who should definitely leave Liverpool after Jurgen Klopp departs this summer

There are three players who should definitely be looking to leave Liverpool this summer after Jurgen Klopp departs.

Things will not be the same when Jurgen Klopp leaves Liverpool at the end of this season. A new era will begin at Anfield, and that usually means change is on the horizon.

That change will impact everyone differently at Liverpool. Already, we have seen changes in the backroom staff. From key coaches leaving the club to key personnel arriving in the boardroom to usher in new change.

But it’s not just behind the scenes where changes will be made. There will be changes in the Liverpool playing squad as well.

Why Caoimhin Kelleher and Kostas Tsimikas should be leaving Liverpool this summer

Some players will want to move on from the Reds at the end of Klopp’s reign. Among them should be Caoimhin Kelleher.

The Republic of Ireland goalkeeper has played a lot of minutes for Liverpool this season and has done very well in between the sticks.

But it seems like he is never going to be the first choice for Liverpool. For both parties, selling him this summer after having featured in so many games would make the most sense.

Another who should be looking at pastures new is Kostas Tsimikas. Similarly, to Kelleher he will never be first choice at Liverpool.

He’s already 28-years-old, and now is the time for him to move on and find a club where he can get more playing time. Meanwhile, Liverpool can bring in a younger left-back to provide competition to Andy Robertson.

Why Luis Diaz should also be looking to leave

Luis Diaz’s output is simply not up to the standards that Liverpool will want. This season he has scored just 13 goals in all competition.

He’s not getting the best out of himself on Merseyside and a move away from Anfield would make sense for the Colombian.

From Liverpool’s point of view, selling him this summer while his value is still high should be the priority. His sale could then fund a much better value for money alternative option in the club’s attacking ranks.
