Kelli Ferrell is now on RHOA for season 16 in a confirmed cast line-up. Straight out of college in the early 2000s, she worked for Teresa Caldwell, rapper Bow Wow’s mom, and helped her open a boutique.

She’s since launched her own eatery, and has starred on shows like Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, and Live with Kelly and Ryan, among several others.

If fans didn’t already know Kelli for her chicken and waffles restaurant, she is certainly going to bring the sassiness, drama and entrepreneurial spirit the Bravo show cast need!

Chicken and waffles queen

Kelli is the founder of the praised eatery, Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles, located in the state of Georgia. With two restaurant locations, Kelli has appeared on Food Network and The Oprah Winfrey Show!

She runs the restaurant with her husband and co-founder, Mark, whose aim is to bring Louisiana and Maryland-style cuisine to Atlanta. However, her journey to restaurateur didn’t start in the food industry.

Originally from Maryland, she first landed in Atlanta in 2003 to study fashion, but her roots of assisting her mom and grandmother – “Nana” – in the kitchen caught back up with her!

She’s also a mom-of-five

Kelli is a mother of five to daughters with her husband, who she resides with in Georgia. She was already a mom to four girls, now 16, 10, and 7-year-old twins, as of 2023, and has since welcomed another.

Although she launched her business in 2016, having children changed her priorities. At the time, she had four kids, and Ferrell had returned home to Maryland to start a store of her own, which shuttered in 2009.

Her new restaurant concept was born while she had four kids to look after. Kelli is now thriving, balancing reality TV, five daughters, a marriage, and an entire food business!
