Arsenal leading the race to sign RB Leipzig wonderkid Benjamin Sesko

According to the Telegraph, Arsenal are leading the charge to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, with the Gunners making the Slovenian international their main attacking target for the summer.

With a release clause now worth £64m, Sesko has enjoyed a fantastic end to the season that has seen the 20-year-old forward score in the last six games, with the youngster managing 12 goal contributions in the last 15 Bundesliga fixtures.

Likened to Haaland, Sesko would offer something different to Arsenal in the attack with the youngster a towering presence who also has pace to burn with the right amount of space.

And given Sesko’s age, the striker could be viewed by Arsenal as a long-term option to lead the line whilst Havertz covers the position during the Slovenian international’s development.
