Ukrainian Armed Forces partially stabilize situation in Kharkiv region - Zelenskyy

Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to stabilize the situation in the Kharkiv region partially. Drones and artillery continue to eliminate Russian soldiers, according to Zelenskyy.

"Throughout the day today, we've had reports from our military, from the Ministry of Defense. Constant attention is focused on the front, on all combat areas," the President said.

He also said that defensive actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were ongoing in Vovchansk. Additionally, the President announced that the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine had partially stabilized the situation over the course of this day.

"Any occupant who entered the Kharkiv region is being eliminated by all available means. Artillery, drones, and our infantry are working quite accurately. I am grateful to everyone who is currently on the front lines," the President said.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

Russian forces are attempting to assault Ukrainian positions in the northern part of the Kharkiv region and are trying to advance towards Lyptsi and Vovchansk.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported today that Russian forces were trying to push back Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Vovchansk, while Ukrainian soldiers were clearing the outskirts of the city.
