Meghan Markle has been slammed by Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan after the Duchess of Sussex failed to mention two senior members of the Royal Family during her trip to Nigeria.
Following the revelation that she is "43 per cent Nigerian", Meghan and Harry embarked on a three-day visit to the African nation, where they spoke about mental health and personal strength.
However, the Sussexes have come under fire once again for portraying their visit as a "de facto royal tour", despite no longer being working royals.
Speaking to GBN America, Callahan hit out at Meghan Markle for not "uttering a word" about King Charles or Princess Kate during one of her engagements.
Discussing the Duchess's appearance at the Women in Leadership event in Abuja, Callahan claimed Meghan was "adopting her vintage style" and was "all about me me me".
Callahan added: "She goes on to tell this group of people that everywhere she's been going during this non-royal royal tour, people have said to her, oh my goodness, we were not surprised at all to hear that you are Nigerian, because Nigerian women are brave, courageous, resilient, beautiful."
Highlighting her snub of King Charles and Princess Kate's "strength and resilience" amid their cancer treatments, Callahan continued: "As she's going on regaling the Nigerian women and herself with compliments and fulsome praise, there's not a word uttered when it comes to strength, resilience, bravery about either her father in law, the King, or Kate Middleton.
"Both are undergoing cancer treatments with really utmost dignity and a real sense of propriety, and never really making what they're going through about themselves, keeping in the forefront that they are servants of the British people."
Callahan noted that the "contrast could not be more stark", and Meghan "really cannot get out of her own way ever".

Nana shared her view on the Nigeria tour and said that although they appear "lovely, nice and so open" during their engagements and presented as "warm and friendly", they have also publicly criticised the Royal Family and Meghan's father.
Nana explained: "Her own father, who is seriously ill and has been through the wars, she's sold out so much. How dare she actually think that she's far better. She's the same as she's punishing him for this.
"You would think that if she wants to look like she's caring and giving and kind, the very least she would do is see her father. And I think that is the elephant in the room. You can't pretend to be all of those things and then be so hard-hearted towards your own family members, it just doesn't sit well."
The Duke and Duchess travelled to Nigeria for three days after Prince Harry attended the Invictus Games service alone in London. They travelled to Nigeria for three days, after being invited by the country's highest-ranking military official, Christopher Musa.

Turning the discussion to Prince Harry's relationship with the Royal Family, Callahan noted that he was unable to see any members of his family before departing for his unofficial royal tour.
Callahan told GBNA: "His father refused to see him, his brother refused to see him, and his formally beloved sister-in-law refused to see him".
It was reported that King Charles was "very busy" and was unable to see him. The King instead hosted his first Buckingham Palace Garden Party, where he invited 8,000 guests to the royal residence following his cancer diagnosis and treatment.
