Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson knows what he’s going to do after his playing days are over. While appearing on the Bussin’ With The Boys show, Robinson revealed that he is looking to get into acting after he retires from the NFL.

“For me, I love to do other stuff, so I want to be an actor when I’m done playing football one day,” Robinson said. “I’ve been doing acting classes, but those acting classes been helping for the interview training because it gets you comfortable in talking to coaches and gets you comfortable in being in different areas with a lot of people in one setting.”

Robinson won’t be the first NFL star to make the jump to acting. NFL legend Jim Brown retired from the NFL after playing in the league for nine seasons before appearing in multiple movies in TV shows. Three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is currently working as an actor and producer, appearing in films such as Sylvie’s Love and The Good Nurse. Pro Football Hall of Famer Alex Karras is known for appearing in the film Blazing Saddles and the hit TV show Webster.

It’s possible Robinson could do some film and TV work while playing in the NFL. Travis Kelce is set to appear in the FX orginal series Grotesquerie. He’s also slated to be the host of the new Prime Video series Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?

Can Bijan Robinson rush for over 2,000 yards in 2024?

Before Robinson can be a movie and TV star, he’s looking to make the Falcons a Super Bowl contender. In February, the 22-year-old set a big goal for the 2024 season.

“I want 2,000 yards rushing,” Robinson told Sports Illustrated. “Know those are big expectations, what we can do as an offense, with all the weapons, our O-line, with [new offensive coordinator] Zac [Robinson] being at the helm, it can be something special. I think it’s going to be one of those special seasons that Atlanta’s been waiting for us and all of us as players have been waiting for. So, let’s get it.”

Robinson was selected by the Falcons at No. 8 overall in last year’s draft. He had a strong rookie season, rushing for 976 yards and four touchdowns on 214 carries. He also caught 58 passes for 487 yards and four scores. Robinson’s production in 2023 led to him being selected to the All-Rookie Team and be a finalst for the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.
