The festivities concluded with the Mayfayre celebrations held on Sunday, providing a whole host of activities and food and craft stalls for local residents and those visiting from further afield.

Some of the activities includes a ladies’ tug-o-war, a dog show, prince and princess parade and ferret racing.

Some of the charities and organisations in attendance included: Mrs Bland’s PTA, St Mary’s Church, Burghfield, Berkshire Army Cadet Force, Tutts Clump Cider and Delphic Brewing Company.

And the organisers said they also wanted to thank all volunteer marshals, stall holders, bar staff and members of the organising committee for their hard work in preparing the celebrations — plus all those who attended.
