Sawbridgeworth residents are invited to get their teeth into a Big Brekkie to help raise funds for Christian Aid.
The popular national event, being organised jointly by the town’s churches, will be held at Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall on Saturday May 18 between 8.30am and midday.
Guests are invited to choose from a menu and have their breakfast prepared while they enjoy a cuppa and some toast.
There is no entry fee but a minimum donation of £5 (cash only) is suggested to Christian Aid and the aim is to raise £1,000.
The Big Brekkie initiative is part of Christian Aid Week from May 12-18, during which the charity is urging people to show “your general election candidates that you and your church care about poverty”.
