Srinagar:
Two unidentified infiltrators were killed after an infiltration bid was foiled on Thursday in the Tangdhar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A top police officer told GNS that two infiltrators were trying to sneak across the fence. The security forces challenged them to return, but they refused, resulting in an exchange of fire, the officer said.
During the firefight, two bodies were seen lying on the other side of the fence, the officer added. (GNS)
